This year's class of athletes includes:
James "Pixie" Kipp, who played for the Detroit Lions in the 1950s.
Mike Granboise, an outstanding all-around athlete from the Fort Peck Reservation, where the Poplar football field still honors his name.
Don Wetzel Sr., an all-around athlete in high school who went on to play basketball for the University of Montana. He also was a successful basketball and cross-country coach.
Bob Lowry coached in Wolf Point for 25 years during the 1950, '60s and '70s. His teams won back-to-back state basketball championships during the early 1960s.
Harry Horn was a dominating runner and all-around athlete at Browning High School in the early 1970s, where he won multiple state individual championships
